We are pleased to present the significantly revamped version of www.projectstoday.com. We are confident that the new version will not only please your eyes but also would make the data mining even more easier.

The major changes incorporated in this version are:

Members Login:

The login feature is now available on the home page itself.

Paid Services:

All major links to the database have been moved from the left panel of the home page to the top panel and links to Project Information, Project Tenders, Project News and Project Profiles have also been placed under the Services section.

For the benefit of non-subscribers, we have added a page explaining the contents of these sections. One can view it by simply clicking on the links.

Free Services:

Unrestricted links like Company Profiles, Post your projects, Yellow pages, and Miscellany have been placed under the “Free Services” section.

Subscribe:

The Subscribe section (placed prominently on the right hand top side of the website) has been thoroughly revamped and re-arranged. We have listed all information a prospective client looks for to subscribe to the website. Details on membership has also been listed in the Must See section -- Membership.

Existing subscribers could also use this section to renew their subscription in time!

Must See:

The "Must See" section has sub-menus — FAQ, Glossary, In the Press, Membership and What Our Users Say.

Live / New Projects & Tenders:

The two small windows indicating the latest tally of live (on-going) and new projects and tenders have now been merged into a single window, placed on the left side panel in the home page.

Top News:

The Top News section placed in the top-middle section of the home page will carry the latest project related news.

Potpourri News:

This section will carry project related news collated from various published sources. The news have been segregated under five sections: Indian Economy, Indian News, Foreign News, Middle-East and SAARC.

ProjectsToday @ Events:

Here you will find the list of project related events where ProjectsToday is participating either as knowledge or media partner.

Recent News:

This new section would carry news items covered by ProjectsToday during the bygone week.  

Project Database:

Subscribers will find a number of changes made in the database pages accessed after one logs in. However, the user friendliness has been maintained at all sections.

Project Information:

In the Project Information section, the search feature has been updated. On subscribers' demand, the Basic & Advanced Search modules have been merged and placed in one page. A user can move to the Advanced search module by clicking on the Open button.

Subscribers looking for additional information / clarifications on projects they access can now send us queries / suggestions through the "Post Your Comments" feature.

In the Project Information page, "Company name:" has been substituted with "Promoter”. Over the years we have observed that projects implemented by non-corporate entities have increased substantially; warranting the change.

The ProjectsToday banner appearing on the top of "Printable Page" has been replaced with a simple heading, making page loading and printing even faster.

Project Tender:

On subscribers' demand, the Basic & Advanced Search modules have been merged and placed in one page. A user can move to the Advanced search module by clicking on the Open button.

Subscribers looking for additional information / clarifications on tenders they access can now send us queries / suggestions through the "Post Your Comments" feature.

e-Magazine:

Along with the section-wise PDF copies, we have also placed the complete monthly magazine in a PDF format. To view the latest issue, please visit the e-Magazine section.

Weekly Roundup:

ProjectsToday summarises, major project related developments in a newsletter format every week and lists the same in this section. This purpose is to inform our subscribers the major developments took place in the projects investment arena.

Contracts & Orders:

In this section, an ongoing chronicle of domestic and overseas contracts involving Indian companies are listed.

Statistics:

This section provides relevant statistics to gain perspective on India's investment climate. The section contains ProjectsToday's investment aggregates, data on Industrial Entrepreneurs Memoranda (IEM) filed, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows and monthly data on performances of Capital Goods and Infrastructure industries.

Survey:

ProjectsToday conducts a Survey of Projects Investment in India every quarter to gauge the trends in projects investment by sectors, states and ownership. The findings of the Surveys have been listed in this section. Relevant statistics pertaining to these Surveys have been listed in the Statistics page.

Project Profiles:

Occasionally, ProjectsToday also publishes sector / state specific special studies. Those profiles have been listed under Paid Services section.

Yellow Pages:

When we introduced the "Project Directory" section in 2005, our intention was to merely list contact details of project suppliers. Due to heavy demand from our subscribers, we were inspired to widen the scope to include details of other classes of the project fraternity like promoters, consultants, financiers, etc. The project directory is now called "Yellow Pages"

Company Profiles:

The Company Profiles section has been re-done completely. Along with the Company name, now we have added its logo and have mentioned in brief its main activities.
