The Aurangabad based maker of auto components Bagla Group, has signed an agreement with Danielson Engineering, a contract research and engineering company in France, to form a 50:50 JV company.

The JV with Danielson will bring in technologies that will help companies lightweight, meet emission norms and enhance the performance of powertrain, its sub-systems and critical parts. Initially, the JV company will start with engineering design services and subsequently create facilities for prototyping and testing in India.

The new plant to be located in Pune, will offer products and engineering services like designing, developing, prototyping, manufacturing and testing of prototypes of powertrain. The scope will include propulsion systems for aircraft, its sub-systems and critical parts for application in automotive, aeronautics and engineering industries in India and overseas.
