Bihar Chief Minister, Jitan Ram Manjh, laid the foundation stone for the construction of Bihar Police Headquarters and also launched 182 building projects in the state on 7 January, 2015.
The villages in the state will be connected with motorable roads by 2017. The state-of-the-art police headquarters will come up over 54,716 sq mtr and will meet the earthquake-resistant building specifications.
The building will be completed within 24 months by Bihar State Building Construction Corporation (BSBCCL).
Apart from the police headquarters project, the other schemes that Bihar CM inaugurated and launched are worth Rs 250 crore. These includes 14 stadia, food grain storage depots, and converting health centres in rural areas into community health centres among others
