Carysil, a premium kitchen solutions provider, plans to invest Rs 500 crore to expand its manufacturing capacity for kitchen sinks, faucets, and appliances in India. The company aims to strengthen its presence under its long-term growth strategy.
As part of this expansion, Rs 100 crore will be allocated to double sink manufacturing capacity from one million to two million units annually. Another Rs 50 crore will boost stainless steel sink production to 2.5 lakh units per year. Additionally, Rs 30 crore will enhance faucet production to 50,000 units annually, while Rs 20 crore will be used to manufacture 50,000 built-in kitchen appliances per year.
Carysil’s Chairman and Managing Director, Chirag Parekh, emphasizsd the company’s vision to establish Bhavnagar as the largest global hub for kitchen sink manufacturing, aligning with the "Make in India" initiative. The company has invested Rs 300 crore over the past five years to expand both domestically and internationally. The company exports products to 58 countries, including the US, the UK, and Europe.
