Construction work on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) technology centre at Pudi village near Atchuthapuram mandalin Andhra Pradesh is yet to begin.
The foundation stone for the MSME technology centre was laid in the third week of July 2016.
Under the technology centre systems programme (TCSP) by the union ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises, the centre was planned to be built at an expense of Rs 140 crore.
The detailed project report (DRP) for the proposed project was completed earlier, but tenders for allotting the construction work were being finalised by the union ministry.
Phase-I of the project was expected to be completed in FY 2017, while Phase-II was expected to be completed by FY 2018.
The centre is proposed to be major technical centre for testing and calibration services offered to SMEs and OEM.
