Falcon Agrifriz Foods has inaugurated a fully automated frozen potato products manufacturing plant in Mehsana, Gujarat. The facility was unveiled by Union Home Minister Amit Shah alongside Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and other dignitaries.

This milestone follows an MoU between Falcon Group and the Government of Gujarat, representing an investment of approx. Rs 1,050 crore aimed at positioning Gujarat as a global hub for processed potato exports. The 25-acre plant features India’s largest French Fries production line, spanning 350 mtrs. and capable of producing 15 tonne per hour, along with a potato specialty line producing 3.5 tonne per hour. Built in under two years, the facility incorporates green and advanced automation technologies, maintaining a shop floor temperature below 28°C for optimal food safety and quality.

Backed by a contract farming network of over 4,000 farmers, Falcon’s vertically integrated supply chain ensures quality from seed to shelf. With global demand for frozen foods rising, Falcon Agrifriz is set to make India a key exporter of frozen potato products.
