Financial bidding date extended for Navi Mumbai airport

City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) has extended the submission of its financial bids date for the Navi Mumbai airport project to 25 January, 2017.
The airport project is estimated to cost Rs 16,700 crore. The decision was taken as Mumbai International Airport of the GVK Group is the sole bidder for the project.
MIA Infrastructure (Vinci Airports and Tata Realty), GMR Airport and Voluptas Developers (a consortium of Hiranandani and Zurich Airport) did not participate in the bidding process.
