GSPC LNG has appointed the project management consultant (PMC) for Rs 4,500-crore LNG terminal at Mundra in Gujarat.
The company has roped in Whessoe Projects as PMC. Now, work towards preparing tenders and awarding the EPC contracts can be initiated. The terminal will have an initial capacity of five million tpa. The EPC contractors will be appointed following single-stage bidding.
GSPC LNG is a JV between GSPC and Adani Energy. GSPC holds 50 per cent stake in the JV, while Adani holds 25 per cent. The company may rope in a strategic partner for the remaining 25 per cent stake. SBI Capital is assisting in finding a strategic partner for GSPC LNG.
