L&T Infrastructure Development Projects (L&T IDPL), a SPV has signed concession agreement with the NHAI for two road projects.
The projects - 275 km
Amravati to Jalgaon and 209 km
Jalgaon to Maharashtra, Gujarat border near Surat - are for four laning on BOT basis and will be built by the construction arm of L&T as EPC contractors. The two road sections totalling 484 km are part of NH - 6 connecting Surat to Kolkata, and are a prominent East–West connector. The projects worth Rs 4,800 crore have concession period of 20 years, including a construction period of 30 months.
