Australia's Musashi in pact with Smart Nutrition for its India venture

29 September 2011: Musashi, an Australian performance nutrition company, has inked a distribution agreement for its products in India with Smart Nutrition, an importer, wholesaler and distributor of health food supplements and wellness products in India.

The Indian market, especially comprising protein-based sports nutrition products, has grown significantly in recent years. The distribution in the country is through organised retail chains such as Religare Wellness, Planet Sports, Decathlon store, Wellness and Pharmacy chains.

In addition, the company is official supplier to many sports academies across India and its products are used by many sports teams and athletes across the country - the Indian cricket team, IPL teams, hockey team and other sports teams.
