Beatson Clark augments capacity

16 May 2011: Beatson Clark, a glass jar and bottle supplier, is planning to invest Pound16 million (approx Rs 116 crore) in increasing capacity and upgrading its recycling facilities. It will be increasing capacity in its furnaces and forming machines and a new inspection facility. The company, which supplies customers including Heinz and Baxters, will also be offering a new apprentice-training scheme. It plans to expand in niche markets. It already supplies many smaller food manufacturers.
