Brookfield Plans Upgradation of World Financial Center

18 June 2011: Brookfield plans to spend about $250 million (approx Rs 1137.5 crore) to upgrade and expand the retail portion of lower Manhattan’s World Financial Center.

The company plans of glass pavilion along West Street, across from the World Trade Center, which links the 8 million sq ft (743,000-square-meter) complex with downtown’s two new transit hubs with a dining concourse.
