Dutch Eneco signs deals for Lochluichart wind project
29 July 2011: Dutch energy company Eneco has signed two contracts for its 51 MW Lochluichart wind farm, near Dingwall in Scotland's western Highlands.
A contract for wind turbines was awarded to Siemens, under which the German engineering company will supply 17 SWT-3.0-101 direct-drive turbines with a tip height of 125 meters to the wind farm. In a second contract, Eneco struck a deal with Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK for supply services, including cabling and electrical work for the Lochluichart wind farm.
