EU nod for Strides’ chemo drug
7 March 2011: Onco Therapies, the wholly owned subsidiary of Strides Arcolab, has secured the European Union (EU) approval to market chemotherapy drug, Carboplatin. Carboplatin injection is given to treat advanced ovarian carcinoma. It is among 37 drugs licensed to Pfizer on a semi-exclusive basis for sales in 17 European countries. The approval covers select countries.
