Endo Pharma to acquire American Medical
13 April 2011: Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc is planning to acquire medical device and treatment provider American Medical Systems Holdings Inc for about $2.6 bilion (approx Rs 11,700 crore) in cash. The deal, worth $30 a share, includes $312 million (approx Rs 1,404 crore) in assumed debt. The deal is expected to immediately add to Endo's adjusted earnings in 2011 and to boost 2012 adjusted earnings per share by 60 cents.
