Gumlink acquire stake in gum maker
29 April 2011: Denmark based Gumlink’s acquisition of a 50 per cent stake in Canada based probiotic and nutraceutical gum maker, Tab Labs Inc will allow the JV to focus on patented nutraceutical chewing gum. The acquisition will provide access to novel technologies, which combined with Gumlink’s proprietary gum technologies, will enable the partnership to offer the most potent nutraceutical chewing gum range. The JV will focus on the North American market. In addition to research and development, the acquisition will provide Gumlink with a nutraceutical manufacturing and distribution platform in North America.
