HTC to launch new tablet model in next year

8 November 2011: HTC Corporation, the smart phone maker is planning to launch a new tablet model next year, its first since a debut model in February 2011.

The company is planning to test the market so it will have idea about its presence in this segment. Last Monday, the company warned its sales in the fourth quarter, traditionally a bumper sales season for smart phones would drop below the previous quarter and analysts' forecasts as the Taiwanese firm struggles to compete against bigger rivals.
