Hitachi teams up with Wipro
18 June 2010: Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi of Japan, entered into a technology collaboration with Wipro, a leading provider of IT and business transformation services, to offer co-branded products and services on Hitachi technology.
The charter is to jointly work on technology insights early in the cycle, co-develop products for the Indian market, and build strong solution sets, practices and services. Commencing with Hitachi's Adaptable Modular Storage 2100 (AMS 2100) range, this alliance will open up opportunities for growing organisations to adopt scalable, tiered, enterprise-class storage with a promise of optimal TCO, better utilisation and ease of deployment.
