Honeytop takes up expansion
14 June 2011: Growing demand for tortillas has led to a major expansion of production facilities at Honeytop, the Dunstable based speciality flatbread maker. However, the quantum of investment in the expansion has not been disclosed.
The tortilla production capability had been increased by 50 per cent, after claiming more than half the own-label market for the products in the UK.
Honeytop, which produces tortillas for McDonald’s, Sharwoods and many other retail and foodservice clients, has also expanded production and packing capacity of its extended-life naans by 50 per cent.
