KBR bags contract from Zeon Chemicals for Nitrile Rubber Plant Expansion Project
25 August 2011: KBR was awarded a contract by Zeon Chemicals (Zeon) to provide construction management and construction services for its Nitrile Rubber Plant Expansion project in Pasadena, Texas.
The company will manage the phase I of Zeon’s expansion plan, which will enable the plant to increase production of zetpol hydrogenated nitrile rubber – used in the production of items such as belts, seals, hoses, diaphragms and rolls for the automotive, oil field and roll industries .
