M&M arm plans new assembly plant in US
9 December 2009: Mahindra and Mahindra’s (M&M) US based subsidiary Mahindra USA is likely to open a new assembly and distribution centre in Chattanooga TN USA by end-December 2009.
The new assembly and distribution plant will take the place of Mahindra USA's Calhoun GA facility.
Besides, Mahindra USA has shifted its North American headquarter to Houston from Tomball, Texas.
Mahindra USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of M&M and a part of M&M farm equipment sector. It started operations in 1994 and has three distribution points in the US to help meet the needs of its customers.
