MBSL signs pact for distribution of solar modules in US
17 June 2011: Moser Baer Solar Limited (MBSL) signs agreement with US-based Munro Distributing Company for the distribution of its solar photovoltaic (PV) modules in the United States.
Munro Distributing Company Inc. has its existence in 11 localities across four states in the East and West coasts and offers MBSL's multi-crystalline silicon solar modules and to make use of them to design commercial turnkey solar PV systems for customers.
According to the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, US accounted for 0.8 GW of new solar photovoltaic (PV) installations among an increase about 16 GW globally in 2010. Considerably, the US market is likely to grow from 1GW in 2010 to 3GW in 2012.
