Mumbai CST master plan offers classy exteriors
26 December 2011: Arep Ville, a French consultancy firm and Egis India and Egis Rail, the architect and technical consultant appointed for preparing the master plan and the feasibility report towards developing Mumbai CST into a world-class station, has suggested the development of the huge open space at the entrance of platform number 18 facing P D’Mello Road.
The firm will undertake traffic studies, geo-technical investigations, real-estate studies, heritage studies, environmental and social impact assessment and preparing submissions for the purpose of obtaining in-principle approvals of various local bodies, etc. The contract was valued at Rs11.45 crore.
