Nissan launches new Micra
3 March 2010: The Nissan Motor Company is likely to launch the new version of its small hatchback Micra at the 80th Geneva Motor Show.
The car has been developed on a totally new platform, called the V platform by the company. The new Micra will go on sale in Europe in November 2010. Nissan is setting up a plant in India, at Oragadam near Chennai. The plant is slated for inauguration soon. Nissan expects to roll out the new Micra from its Chennai plant in May 2010.
