Ruias acquire solid tyre firm in Germany
28 July 2010: The Ruia Group has acquired a solid tyre company in Frankfurt, Germany.
According to sources, the German company manufactures full rubber wheels (solid tyres), rubber compounds, etc. it has additional capacity which may be used to export the products to a number of countries.
This happens to be the group’s fourth overseas acquisition in less than two years. The three other overseas companies which Ruias either acquired or put in substantial equity are Industronics, Malaysia, Schlegel Automotives Europe and Henniges, Germany (which was later named Draftex).
