SABIC builds polycarbonate plant in China

The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) plans to build advanced polycarbonate technology plant in China's Tianjin City.

The a $1bn (approx Rs 4750 crore)plant will be built with an annual capacity of 260K tonne to meet the growing demand for plastics in the country. The proposed project will help boost its growth in the market for high performance engineering thermoplastics, and meet the growing demand for SABIC advanced polycarbonates in China.
