Snap Fitness mulls expansion
3 December 2009: Snap Fitness, the Global health club chain, is open to acquisitions in India to reach its targeted figure of 150-200 stores by March 2012. The company has nine outlets in the country at present.
Snap outlets are generally spread over 2,000 to 6,000 sq ft and offer amenities such as treadmills and strength training that are 'used everyday.'
Globally, Snap has 2,000 centres and 750,000 members and 4,000 members in India. The club operates on the franchising model and has outlets in the US, Canada, Australia and Mexico.
