Tata Motors plans to set up manufacturing facility in Latin America, South East Asia

19 October 2011: Tata Motors is planning to set up manufacturing facility for trucks and buses in South East Asia and Latin America.

The company is scouting for land in Latin America and South East Asia. The company has already started assembling trucks in South Africa facility. The 407 is exemplary in how a platform can be deployed to meet diverse needs. It addresses a wide range of goods transportation and people movement solutions, industrial and defence applications in India and in about 15 other countries in South Asia and Africa.
