VW to acquire Suzuki stake
11 December 2009: Volkswagen AG (VW) is likely to acquire a 19.9 per cent stake in Japan's Suzuki in a $2.53 billion deal (approx Rs 11,764.5 crore).
The agreement is expected to be another step in VW plans to overtake Toyota as the world's biggest automaker by 2018.
