Woodland in parleys with Chinese company
18 July 2011: Woodland is holding discussions with a China based footwear company for a partnership to establish presence in Chinese market and also for launching the latter's brand in India. However, the company did not disclose details of the plan and the name of the Chinese company.
Woodland has presence in China through a distributor in Hong Kong for products sold at the multi-brand retail outlets. In India, Woodland is expanding its manufacturing operations, retail presence by opening new exclusive outlets and increasing online sales.
