Zetar takes over Derwent Lynton
15 April 2011: UK based confectionery and snack foods company Zetar has acquired Derwent Lynton, a chocolate confectionery manufacturer.
Post acquisition, Derwent Lynton's operations will form part of its confectionery division and the additional manufacturing capability will give the flexibility to offer new product variants to the existing customers. The acquisition of Derwent Lynton is complementary to the company's existing confectionery business, providing access to new customers.
Derwent Lynton is engaged in the manufacture of solid milk chocolate & chocolate flavour balls & eggs, hollow milk chocolate shapes, sugar-coated milk chocolate products including eggs & beans and chocolate drops covered in 'hundreds & thousands'.
