Astec Lifesciences plans additional facility
24 August 2010: Astec Lifesciences has acquired land in MIDC Mahad area in Maharashtra admeasuring 40,000 sq mtrs with a view to set up additional manufacturing facilities at the new site.
According to sources, since the new site is located few kilometres from the existing facilities at Mahad, it will make it convenient for the company to manage with its existing infrastructure and to optimise cost efficiency. The proposed expansion at the new site will be over and above the expansion at the company’s existing sites.
