BMW launches luxury sedan
26 February 2010: BMW India has launched two new variants of the BMW 3 Series Sedan - the BMW 330i petrol vehicle and the BMW 320d diesel car.
The six-cylinder BMW 330i features a displacement of 2,996 cc and can reach 100 km in 6.5 seconds. The BMW 320d has 4-cylinders with total displacement of 1995 cc, and fuel is delivered through a common rail direct injection system.
These vehicles are assembled at BMW's Chennai plant, which has a capacity to produce 3,000 cars on a single-shift basis. Also, by June 2010, BMW intends to launch its financing services.
