Chowgule mops up funds for Jaigad maritime complex
23 August 2010: Chowgule Ports and Infrastructure, a SPV floated by Chowgule Steamships, has achieved financial closure for Phase I of integrated maritime complex project at Jaigad in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. The cost of the project is Rs 25 crore.
The project involves development, operation and maintenance of cargo terminal and state-of-the-art ship repair facility. The project has already received the environmental clearance and is likely to be completed by the end of 2011.
