Funds for building bus-stands in taluk headquarters
23 August 2010: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has inaugurated a bus-stand and a circuit house at Bharamasagara hobli in Chitradurga taluk on 21 August 2010.
The corporation had introduced hi-tech buses and was providing better facilities to passengers. Meanwhile, the state government has earmarked Rs 25 crore to build bus-stands in all taluk headquarters and Rs 50 crore for building bus depots in various places. He reiterated that the Government was not succumbing to private operators' lobby in any district.
