Funds sanctioned for Handloom corporation office
23 February 2010: B S Yeddyurappa, Chief Minister of Karnataka, on 22 February 2010, sanctioned Rs 3 crore for the construction of Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation’s (KHDC) head office in Hubli.
The KHDC owns five acre in Hubli on which the building for the headquarters is proposed to be constructed. It might be recalled that the KHDC head office was shifted to Hubli after the Cabinet took a decision in this regard.
