KEI Industries launches Marine & Offshore Cables

3 February 2012: KEI Industries, on 18 January 2012, launched comprehensive range of cables for Marine & Offshore applications on the inaugural of T&D exhibition, ELECRAMA. The range covers power, control & instrumentation cables FR and fire resistant cables which are as per International standards (IEC, NEK or BS). Also,The company has developed and established in-house Design, Manufacturing and testing facility to offer these cables. The special braiding, taping and extrusion facilities at KEI make it possible to design and offer cables as per their customer’s requirements in a short period of time.

The cables manufactured by KEI have special Halogen Free sheath having Mud Resistance and for subzero installation conditions encountered in North Atlantic Ocean on Oil producing platform. KEI is the only manufacturer in India having DNV Norway Type approval for Elastomeric cables as per NEK 606 and IEC 60092-350, 353 & 376 for Marine & Offshore Platform installation.
