New place to unwind in Kochi
13 August 2010: Greater Cochin Development Authority has opened ‘Nandanam', a park on its premises in Kadavanthra in Kerala.
The park has a 120-mtrs long paved walkway, a pond, a fountain, play areas for children and garden chairs. Old sculptures have been given a fresh coat of paint, while a 5,000-sq.ft area has been landscaped with Mexican grass. A 50-year-old mahogany and other trees have been well-preserved, with the base of their trunks being reinforced with a solid basement.
