Road-widening work to begin soon in Madikeri
24 February 2010: The Madikeri City Municipal Council is planning to take up widening of Mahadevpet road and Ganapathi street in Madikeri in Karnataka up to 12 mtrs as early as possible.
CMC has decided that residents of both the roads will be informed once more of the need to widen the roads. Roads in a CMC area need to be at least 12 m wide.
Besides, a bus-stand with modern facilities will be constructed with private partnership by utilising funds granted to the CMC under the Chief Minster’s Small and Medium Towns Development Project.
