TTD marriage hall to come up at Arasavalli
23 August 2010: A modern kalyanamandapam will soon be constructed at the Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple, Arasavalli, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) will build the mandapam in a 1.25-acre plot, at an investment of Rs 1.65 crore which has already been sanctioned. The Department of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh, will also construct a hotel where devotees visiting the Arasavalli temple and those using the proposed TTD kalyanamandapam, can stay. The hotel will be constructed in the adjoining plot of about 1.4 acres. Once the project is completed, TTD will hand over the mandapam to the Arasavalli temple authorities for maintenance.
