Abu Dhabi Education Council raises kindergarten classroom capacities

30 September 2011:The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) has raised the capacity of kindergarten classrooms and the opening of 21 new schools in the emirate to provide additional seats in public schools for pupils at the kindergarten level. The new facilities include schools in Al Daher and Umm Gafa, Al Khaleef Kindergarten in Al Ain, as well as other schools around the capital. Each kindergarten level can now accommodate 140 more pupils because of an increase in classroom capacity from 20 to 23 pupils, as well as a rise in the number of classrooms at each level from 12 to 16.
