Adach commences maintenance work on Delma Island

25 November 2011: The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (Adach) has launched maintenance works of four historic stone buildings in the old town in Delma Island, namely Al-Merikhi House (or the House of Pearl Merchants), and the mosques of Al- Merikhi, Al-Dosari, and Al-Mohannadi. The project includes the study of the history and conditions of the four buildings and the materials used in their construction in order to develop strategies for their restoration.
