Al Bashir Hospital opens Organ transplant unit soon

13 October 2011: The Ministry of Health will soon establish an organ transplant unit at Al Bashir Public Hospital.

The unit will serve all patients in need of organ transplants including hearts, kidneys and even cochlear implants. The unit will be equipped with all needed specialists; if these specialists cannot be found in the public sector, they will be contracted from other health sectors.
