Barwa unveils phase II of workers' city project
21 January 2012: Qatari property developer Barwa Real Estate has launched the second phase of its QR2bn workers' city, Barwa Al Baraha. Located in the industrial area, the new city is estimated to accommodate 53,000 workers and employees. The Phase I of has the country's largest parking space enough to accommodate around 4,200 vehicles including trucks. The Phase II involves building 64 buildings, with each block containing four floors and 130 rooms. The buildings have been distributed into four clusters, with each containing 16 buildings, in addition to service facilities and green spaces.
