Biotechnology University College opened in Dubai
12 August 2010: The first educational institution in Dubai to offer biotechnology degrees has been inaugurated in Dubai. The Biotechnology University College (BUC) offers programmes that are accredited and licensed by the ministry of higher education and scientific research in the UAE. Furthermore, students will have the option to earn a second bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from State University of New York at Oswego in the US.
