Chiquita Brands signs major ME deal
26 February 2010: Chiquita Brands International, a leading distributor of fresh and value-added food products, has signed a global master franchise agreement for operation of Chiquita Fruit Juice Bars in the Middle East.
This partnership is likely to help the company meet the growing demand for convenient beverages that are healthy, fresh and nutritious. The first series of locations are already open, making it even more enjoyable to use the Dubai Metro. Consumers can stop at the juice bars and have a choice of quality products ranging from fruits products, made-to-order freshly prepared juices, fruit cuts, milk shakes, power drinks and smoothies and a variety of healthy snacks.
The outlets are located at three stations - the Union Square, Dubai International Financial Centre, and Rigga - that opened in September 2009.
