Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation to announce nuclear fuel supplier in early 2012

The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) will announce the winners of a bid to supply nuclear fuel to the four nuclear reactors planned in the UAE in the first quarter of 2012. ENEC will oversee the ambitious project and launch the construction work for the infrastructure of the nuclear plants in Barrakah in the western region in mid 2012 to pave the way for the operation in 2017.
