Flydubai to add new routes to Iraq

22 December 2011: Dubai-based low-cost carrier Flydubai plans to double up its Iraqi network from the start of 2012 with the addition of flights to Baghdad and Najaf. The new routes bring to 14 the weekly total of Flydubai destinations in Iraq. The four-times weekly flights to Baghdad will begin on January 17, while the three-times a week service to Najaf commences on January 29. The carrier launched services to Iraq in 2010, serving Erbil and Sulaimaniyah.
