Gulf Extrusions mulls East African expansion
26 February 2010: Gulf Extrusions plans to strengthen the company’s presence in the East African market.
The East African market and Ethiopia in particular, holds tremendous potential for Gulf Extrusions, especially considering that Ethiopia has been among the fastest growing non-oil dependent African nations in recent years and also because international products are in high demand here since the country is a major importer of products. Our participation in Ethiopia Trade Expo 2010 provides the ideal platform for us to build on our presence here and tap new market opportunities.
Gulf Extrusions together with its partner Tracon Trading has undertaken several projects in Ethiopia over the years, including the Addis Ababa Gbia Center, East Metro Building, Alemash Building, Ato Solomon Yirdaw, Arcan International, MGK Makonnen Building, Yeshi PLC, Zemen Bank, Hulaum Center, Negash Bayne Building, among others.
