Iran ministry awards oil contract to local companies
22 August 2011: The Iranian Oil Ministry has awarded a $1.5bn (approx Rs 6825 crore) contract to a consortium of local companies to develop the third phase of the south-western Darkhovin oil field. The contract will develop the phase III of Darkhovin with the aim of producing 71,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd) was signed with local firms.
